Meet With AWC’s Watershed Planner!

Join us online via Zoom to meet with our Watershed Planner Sarah Macdonald, Friday, April 9 from 10:00 – 11:00 AM. Bring your own coffee and drop in to meet our staff and other members of the Athabasca Watershed Council. Sarah will be giving a short presentation discussing her role as a Watershed Planner in the Athabasca Watershed Council and will open the floor for questions, comments, suggestions, etc. This event is open to the public and is free to attend. We hope you’ll join us!

Sarah has been working with the Athabasca Watershed Council for over 2 years. She recently graduated from Mount Royal University for the Bachelor of Science, Environmental Science degree and has experience in riparian assessment, water quality management, and collaborating with various environmental organizations across the province. She currently oversees our involvement with the Integrated Watershed Management Plan (IWMP), Pembina Project, and the Canadian Aquatic Biomonitoring Network (CABIN) Eastern Slopes Collaborative project.
